Breakfast at Aulani

On my last weekend in Hawaii, I went on a girls trip to Aulani for breakfast. Given that it was my first time at the Disney Resort, I was excited to see what all those ads I’ve often seen these past couple years were all about. Aulani PictureAs soon as you are entering the resort, you immediately get that familiar Disney spirit. Everyone is welcoming and at the entrance (which is quite grand) is a water stand with Mickey shaped fruits. I would expect nothing less! As I was walking to the restaurant where we were having breakfast, I even walked past Mickey as he was heading to some photo-ops with those in the long line of children and adults. Aulani ResortWe had our breakfast at ‘Ama’Ama which has a really nice open seating that has a gorgeous view of their man made lagoon. You could see people paddle boarding, treading water, playing games, and suntanning. Aulani Food CollageFor breakfast, we all got a variety of things to try. On the top is the famous Acai bowl and blueberry pancakes. On the bottom are some belgian waffles and lox and cream cheese bagels. YUM. I can’t wait till I actually stay at the resort to get the full experience. I will say, however, that the resort is smaller than I had expected. But it gave it a comfortable atmosphere, while sometimes Disney World, let alone Disneyland, can make you feel a bit overwhelmed. Expect an full update from me when I actually stay at the resort, which will hopefully be in the near future!
